Endocrine disruptor screening program

The endocrine disruptor screening program (EDSP) can seem like a daunting series of hurdles for your product, and the challenge of understanding the required assays for your regulatory submission can seem overwhelming. At Envigo, though, we are committed to helping you navigate your way through the (EDSP) to obtain a successful outcome. Envigo hit the ground running as soon as the EDSP was announced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and we remain in the forefront of EDSP testing. We started validation of the required tests as soon as the EPA regulations and requirements were published, and all our EDSP studies continue to be fully accepted by the EPA.

We can ally with you at all points in the EDSP process by answering your questions, helping you to arrive at a strategy, providing testing and giving you the regulatory support you may need.

Our screening program comprises of two tiers of testing:

  • Tier one: identifies the chemicals that have the potential to interact with the endocrine system.
  • Tier two: determines the endocrine-related effects and establishes the dose at which the effects occur.
