In vitro safety assessment

Your safety evaluation needs + our in vitro safety assessment

Before you go to regulators and go to market, you need confidence that your products do no harm. At Envigo, we have more than 20 years of experience conducting in vitro safety testing and offer a comprehensive service for in vitro safety assessment of crop protection products. Additionally, should your project require it, we staff a dedicated chemical registration services group offering specialists in weight of evidence (WOE) studies, in silico evaluation and in vitro testing requirements.

Envigo has scientists with 20+ years of experience of in vitro safety testing. Our scientists have been involved in ECVAM and ICVAM development of in vitro alternative tests and in vitro endocrine disruptor screens. Members of our team have worldwide experience and participate in international development trials coordinated by FRAME, ECVAM and ICVAM. Our experts are members of the in vitro toxicology society (IVTS) and in vitro testing industrial platform (IVTIP). The team is supported by our dedicated Envigo Regulatory Affairs Group and Chemical Registration specialists.
