New appointments strengthen Envigo’s position as a leading regulatory consultancy

Envigo has bolstered its regulatory consultancy expertise with the addition of four new influential hires and an additional geographic focus for existing teams. 

Francesca Cash
Francesca Cash joined Envigo in November 2016 as a Regulatory Specialist; based in Shardlow, UK.  Francesca has a BSc in Zoology and a Masters in Toxicology at the University of Nottingham, followed by a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Manchester. Her PhD involved researching the effects of an insecticide on the nervous system of the fruit fly and was also partially sponsored by the agricultural company Syngenta, where she worked for a year after completing her thesis.

Reshma Ramdhany
In January, Reshma Ramdhany joined Envigo as a Regulatory Specialist.  She is based in Huntingdon, UK and will be responsible for projects in the following areas; REACH registration joint dossiers, IUCLID summaries, literature searches and Letter of Access cost calculations.  Reshma studied at the Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France where she gained an MSc in Environmental and Ecological Sciences and a BSc in Biology. 

Anna Angouridou
In March 2017 Anna Angouridou joined the team as a Regulatory Consultant. She is based in Füllinsdorf, Switzerland.  Anna worked for 10 years in the Benaki Phytopathological Institute, the Greek Evaluating Authority for Plant Protection Products and Biocidal products, with her most recent role being a National Expert on Pesticides and Biocides Chemistry.  During this time, she developed an in-depth knowledge of pesticides and biocides; including identity, physical and chemical properties, methods of analysis, metabolism, residues, and consumer risk assessment particularly relating to Regulation (EU) No 1107/2009 for pesticides and Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 for biocides.

Hyacinth Chin Sue
Hyacinth Chin Sue joined the team in Huntingdon as an Expert Consultant in May 2017.  Hyacinth worked for 8 years as head of the Pesticides Control Authority in Americas where she had the chance to meet other regulatory authorities and gained an understanding of the challenges in developing countries. During this time, she participated in meetings of the Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions and developed an in-depth knowledge of the global programme for managing the trade of pesticides and hazardous chemicals.

Hyacinth also spent 8 years conducting regulatory work for industry gaining registrations in Europe, New Zealand, USA and Canada. She is also an Agronomist with a Masters of Philosophy in Crop Science and has experience working with farmers and exporters.  Envigo’s customers will now benefit from Hyacinth’s unique experience and expertise.

Enhanced expertise in Asia Pacific

In addition to these new hires, Matthieu Duchemin has been announced as the Head of Expert Consultant and Asia Pacific Regulatory Services Groups.  Matthieu joined Envigo after 15 years in regulatory consultancy and industrial R&D in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe.  He is an ecotoxicologist, whose successes include the set-up of a GLP/ISO accredited environmental testing facility and consultancy business in the Asia Pacific region.  He will now be bringing his particular experience and expertise to our customers in the region.
