When your in vitro experiments call for rabbit or guinea pig complement, you need assurance that the activity is high, the variability is low, and it meets the requirements of regulatory bodies. Inotiv supplies serum and antibody complement products approved for use in Europe. Also given the innate inconsistency of the medium, we are committed to ensuring you receive the complement that is appropriate to your research by providing free sample supplies.

The technique used to process the sera ensures high complement activity and is in line with the recommendations of the European Health Committee. Guinea pig complement is screened by a standard haemolytic titration assay against a control batch. Endogenous non-specific cytotoxicity in the absence of antibody has been quantified. Complement can be collected from guinea pigs, rabbits and baby rabbits and is available frozen or lyophilised.
